The Challenge
Abu Dhabi Indian School is one of the larger Indian curriculum schools in the UAE, serving approximately 4,500 students across its campus. The school required a network infrastructure that could handle the demands of a modern digital learning environment while providing ironclad content filtering to ensure students only accessed appropriate online resources.
What We Delivered
NETCUE deployed an EdgeCue EC-5000 captive portal gateway as the core internet access controller for the entire school campus. Multi-WAN load balancing was configured across multiple ISP links to deliver high availability, eliminating single-point connectivity failures that had previously disrupted online examinations. A dedicated firewall was deployed to enforce strict traffic policies. DNS filtering was applied at the gateway level, preventing resolution of known malicious, adult, or inappropriate domains. URL filtering added a deeper layer of content control, allowing the school's IT team to define granular category-based policies.
The Outcome
Abu Dhabi Indian School now operates a fully secured, high-availability campus network — 4,500 students access authenticated internet with layered content filtering that keeps browsing safe and on-topic, while multi-WAN load balancing ensures zero disruption during online exams and digital learning sessions.
